En San Martín del Río (Teruel), se celebra la tradicional matacía; sacrificio del cerdo que se engordaba durante el año en las casas para obtener los alimentos que serían la dieta gastronómica durante parte del año.

Hoy en día es un festejo de sus habitantes como lo fue siempre y que practican para mantener esta tradición.
